I’m a creative all-rounder and get my kicks from combining my loves for photography, the outdoors, working with people and my digital skills.
My photography work is lifestyle in nature, with a keen focus on food and hospitality. I’m pretty sure this interest has come from growing up in my family’s pub and restaurant! When I’m not shooting images, I’m working on my computer and have developed a handy set of complimentary graphics, marketing, pr and event management skills.
I graduated from Cork Institute of Technology in 2004 with a degree in Multimedia. After a few years of gallivanting, sailing and exploring as many far flung places as I could, I began to pursue my passion of photography and graphic design on a professional basis. My first big projects were the publication of two travel photography books “Coast of Cork” and “Coast of Kerry”. I later spent time living in London and the Netherlands, nurturing my creative skills in photo studios, outdoor sets, short films and a part time multimedia teaching stint! Fast forward to today and my work has been featured in publications, magazines, calendars, exhibitions and more.
As an aside, I’m also the founder and event co-ordinator of the Irish Redhead Convention, a weekend festival of ginger loving madness and Ireland’s only and ultimate whacky celebration of all things to do with red hair!
